We did it, guys. We made it. We survived 2020. I gave Twitter an honest try this year, and decided it wasn't for me. It's a deeply unhappy place that amplifies the worst qualities in all of us in order to sell our eyeballs to advertisers. It's not the kind of stress or surveillance that I want in my life. I'm posting more on Mastodon now, which is much smaller and much friendlier. It does not have the advertising impetus as the guiding content selector. https://mastodon.art/web/accounts/204796 I never thought I'd say this, but I really miss Tumblr. The art community there was great, despite all the other problems the site had. I don't fit into a single neat bucket as a content creator, so these big social sites don't really know what to do with me or my content. As a result, nobody ends up seeing it. It's a creatively lonely place to be in. The best way to see my latest and greatest (lol) content is on my Telegram channel. I post WIPs, sketches, and lots and lots of food photos
